With its distinctively tight harmonies weaved around a variety of musical styles, Jericho has been performing in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area for nearly 10 years. This 8-piece band has gained an enthusiastic fan base with each successive performance and continues to encourage and inspire its listeners with primarily original songs that can be found on their first 2 CDs, along with some new songs that will comprise the band’s 3rd CD offering. The band sprinkles its performing sets with cover tunes from artists ranging from Steven Curtis Chapman to Casting Crowns to Third Day to Big Daddy Weave and others. A Jericho appearance is really more of an “event” than a “performance” as audiences are encouraged to allow God to break down any barriers that may be preventing a closer relationship with the Creator ­ and the band is more than willing to take a hands-on approach to this exhortation!
